Top Ten Tuesday time again! For those that aren’t familiar this is a sort of blogging meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is the best books I have read so far in 2018, a sort of check point for the halfway mark of the year. And since I didn’t participate in the Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag, that works perfect!
I am not including any books that I have re-read this year so while some of these may have come out in previous years, they are all new to me this year! Also, not in any particular order.
◊The Grey Bastards by Jonathan French
◊Circe by Madeline Miller
◊Jade City by Fonda Lee
◊Arm of the Sphinx by Josiah Bancroft
◊Red Rising by Pierce Brown
◊The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde
◊The Court of Broken Knives by Anna Smith Spark
◊The Armored Saint by Myke Cole
◊The Ikessar Falcon by K.S. Villoso
◊The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
I know that I have to be leaving something off of this list and there are so many more that I wanted to put on. If the second half of the year goes the same, choosing this year’s “best of” will be incredibly painful!
What are some of the best books you have read this year?
